UFC Founder Art Davie will straight up unfriend you for Facebook game requests

UFC Founder Art Davie will straight up unfriend you for Facebook game requests

No, it is not necessarily news, rather a humorous tale of the founder of the baddest sport on the planet not having any time for Facebook game requests and in turn, letting us know about his gripe.  I like Art which is why the opportunity to bust his chops a bit just seems so right.  However…. the man does have a point.

The author of “Is This Legal?: The Inside Story of the First UFC from the Man Who Created It,” has had it with social media game invites, so much so that he let the world know today via…. Facebook.

Those pesky little game requests can be annoying but there is a way to stop them, you just have to do some digging. Besides, who really plays Facebook games and sends invites in 2016?

We all have that ‘one friend.’  I’m sure you are saying his/her name in your head right now as you read this because it is true.

STOP SENDING FACEBOOK GAME REQUESTS PEOPLEUFC Founder Art Davie will straight up unfriend you for game requests

In 1993, Davie created and co-produced the tournament which became the televised Ultimate Fighting Championship. Fast forward to 2016 and mixed martial arts is one of the biggest sports in the world and the UFC sale this past summer was the largest in sporting history.

So as you can imagine, Facebook games requests really are not on the top of Davie’s ‘To-Do’ list and if you happen to be friends with the man who helped created the organization which have driven the sport which we all have grown to love, do yourself a favor and keep your game requests to yourself, or at least don’t send to Art Davie.
