IMMAF confirms officials from 11 different countries for 2017 Brave International Combat Week

The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) has confirmed that a team of 19 referees and judges have been assigned as officials for the 2017 IMMAF World Championships, held during the 2017 Brave International Combat Week.

Officials assigned to the 2017 IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA come from the following countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and the United States of America.

Each registered official is an approved representative nominated by their national governing body or local affiliated Federation and is a successful graduate of IMMAF’s official certification course. The referees and judges selected will be working under the head official, Marc Goddard, IMMAF technical adviser, course leader, and committee member.

Marc Goddard is one of the most important referees in the world currently and has officiated multiple editions of the Bahrain-based professional Mixed Martial Arts promotion Brave Combat Federation.

The Kingdom of Bahrain will be hosting the largest event in the history of Amateur MMA at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, from 12 to 19 November. The 2017 IMMAF World Championships is set to be the biggest event in the history of Amateur Mixed Martial Arts with more participants than all the previous years and representing nations from all continents.

Brave International Combat Week will be headlined by Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions, on 17th November 2017 at Khalifa Sports City Arena. The event will be the much-anticipated return of Brave Combat Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain after almost a year. The official fight card was not announced but the program has been hinted to be the biggest ever promoted by Brave CF.
