Legacy Fighting Championships 31 – Title Fights

Legacy Fighting Championships 31 is set to take place at Houston Arena Theatre on June 13.

Headlining the event will be two title fights. UFC veteran Damacio Page (17-9) is set to face unbeaten Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo (6-0) for the vacant flyweight title. Cejudo is 2-0 in the Legacy cage; his last fight was against Elias Garcia (4-1) in a fight that went the distance and saw Cejudo dominate the fight, winning by unanimous decision. Page is coming off a TKO victory over Mathew Lozano (4-2), the second of two wins he has had in the Legacy cage.

The second title fight will see William “Bubba” Bush (7-2) make his second title defense of the Legacy middleweight (185 lb) title. Bush successfully defended his belt against Rakim Cleveland (8-4) in February at LFC 28, when Bush won in the second round after securing a rear-naked choke and plans on repeating his successful defense against undefeated Roger Narvaez (6-0). Narvaez had in fact been scheduled to face Bush in February, but injury had caused him to pull out of the fight and Cleveland stepped in as his replacement.

Both fights will be televised as well as the main card on AXS TV, Legacy Fighting Championship’s broadcast partner.
