After the UFC was sold from the Fertitta Brothers to WME-IMG back in July we saw the exit of several top ranked UFC officials.  Of course, both Lorenzo and Frank would walk out the door after the biggest sale in sporting history, worth roughly $4.2 billion, but in recent weeks we also saw the likes of UFC matchmaker Joe Silva, and Giovanni Decker, vice president and general manager in Brazil, announce they were parting ways with the organization.

Last week that was followed by the announcement that longtime UFC public relations Vice President, Dave Sholler, was leaving for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Today, a source who asked for anonymity revealed to MMAJunkie that approximately 15 percent of the 400 or so employees worldwide will be let go. The source requested anonymity because the information has not yet been announced by the company. A UFC official declined to comment on the layoffs other than to confirm they occurred today.

The sources said WME-IMG has no plans to close any international offices.  The UFC has offices in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Sao Paulo and Singapore.

We will keep you updated as more information comes in and where you can submit your resume.
