A weekend with Hendo – Dan Henderson coming to northeast

If you have ever wanted to train with or meet the only mixed martial artist to concurrently hold two titles in two different weight classes in a major MMA promotion, Dan “Hendo” Henderson, this weekend is your opportunity.

Not into training? Well how about eating dinner and watching an epic night of UFC fights with the former champ?

Eat at Rivoli’s Grill and Chill in Howell, N.J. this Saturday night. $25 gets you in the door along with an appetizer, beverage and photo op with a living legend in the sport. Not only that but you will be able to watch the Robbie Lawler vs. Matt Brown fight card on one of the many TVs in the restaurant alongside Hendo. How often do you get the chance to do something like that?

Rivoli’s is located at 8 Ramtown Greenville Rd. Howell, NJ 07731

“MMA Signatures is excited to be able to bring in former Pride, Pride Grand Prix, Strikeforce Champion and Olympian, Dan Henderson, to the Northeast,” said MMA Signatures owner, A.J. Hiller.

Hiller has organized a training session with Hendo at Nick Catone’s MMA & Fitness in Brick, N.J. earlier in the day from 1-3 p.m.

The cost of the two hour session is $100. Catone’s gym is located at 1930 Route 88, Brick, N.J. and you can call 732-458-0133 or visit nickcatonefitness.com

The third of Hendo’s three acts will be at the MMA World Expo at the Jacob Javits Center in New York on Sunday, July 27.

“We (MMA Signatures) have been a distributor for Dan’s company, Clinch Gear, for several years. We have always wanted to bring him to the Tristate area for an event. We saw a great opportunity with the MMA World Expo in NY, and jumped at the opportunity,” Hiller said.

The 5th Annual MMA World Expo, the East Coast’s premiere mixed martial arts gathering promises to be larger than ever, with more attractions, exhibitors and a televised amateur MMA championship tournament.

Featured attractions this year include: celebrity signings and training seminars with Anderson “The Spider” Silva and Dan “Hendo” Henderson, Fighters Source Nationals amateur MMA bouts, ADCC New York gi and no-gi grappling tournament, CACC World Championships catch-wrestling tournament and seminar, MMA films and documentary stage, expert panels on MMA legalization and the future of amateur MMA, and much, much more!
