Cage Fury Fighting Championships is on the west coast for the very first time.  CFFC 64 take place inside The Observatory North Park in San Diego, California, March 25.

To add to this historic night, UFC President Dana White is making his second trip to a CFFC show for the purposes of filming his YouTube hit, ‘Dana White: Lookin’ For a Fight.’

In the main event Matt Sayles took on Christian Aguilera.

Also, CFFC interim flyweight champ Sean ‘Shorty Rock’ Santella headed to Cali on Thursday, weighed in Friday, and was geared up for tonight’s matchup against  Team Alpha Male’s rising star, Joseph Morales.

Santella was primed and ready to fill in last year on short notice against UFC flyweight Wilson Reis.  The UFC went as far as to mention it during a live broadcast.

Just days later Shorty Rock’s dreams were shattered when the fight was taken off the card due to a last minute medical hiccup.

Santella stood tall, went back to the drawing board and took on rising star Matt Lozano in the main event of CFFC 62 in December 2016.  The fight was for the organization’s interim flyweight title.  Lozano was submitted in the third round via rear-naked choke, and Santella would go on to call out current champion Louis Gaudinot.  The fight is yet to have been made, but Santella knew this opportunity in front of White is his second shot at getting the call.

After winning the first round tonight at CFFC 64, unfortunately Shorty was defeated via TKO in the second and it may be Morales who is now on the radar.

CFFC 64 will be managed by San Diego-based, Alliance Training Center owner Eric Del Fierro.
