Colton Smith, 28, will be one of eight competitors on “Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge,” airing 7 p.m. Sunday on CMT.

Smith, an active-duty U.S. Army Soldier stationed at Fort Hood is best known for competing on, and winning the UFC’s, ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Team Carwin vs. Team Nelson.’  He currently serves as a combatives instructor on Hood which is the most populous U .S. military installation in the world.

Steve Austin is known as one of the toughest competitors in professional wrestling history, so his personal obstacle course, which he calls the Skullbuster, is very difficult.

“Each episode sees contestants go head-to-head until the last man or woman standing earns the right to take on the toughest obstacle course in America, the ‘Skullbuster,’ for a chance to win $10,000 in cold, hard cash,” according to a news release from CMT.

“In the newest episode … Steve invites eight new male competitors to take on Drag Race, Pile Up and Splinter before one competitor gets his shot at the Skullbuster and $10,000.”
