The Unnamed Podvideocast With Jason Gay and Dana White

Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White talks with WSJ’s Jason Gay about the Oct. 1 mass shooting in Las Vegas, and the matches he’s most excited for in the upcoming UFC 217 lineup on Nov. 4 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Watch Dana White talk about the Las Vegas shooting below:

The Las Vegas shooting took place when a lone gunman released a rapid-fire barrage of bullets from the 32nd floor of a Las Vegas hotel earlier this month, killing at least 58 people and injuring more than 500 others attending a country music festival below, officials said.

It was the worst mass shooting in modern American history.

The shooter, identified by law enforcement officials as Stephen Craig Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nevada, fired shot after shot from his room at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino down on the crowd of about 22,000, sending terrified concertgoers running for their lives.

In light of the tragic events that recently took place in Las Vegas, UFC will be selling VEGAS STRONG T-shirts through the end of October to raise money for families of the victims and those affected by the shooting.
