Daniel Cormier injured, out of UFC 206 main event

UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will not defend his title against challenger Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson in the main event of UFC 206 next month.Daniel Cormier vs Anthony Johnson 2 headlines UFC 206 in Toronto

According to MMA Fighting, Cormier is injured and had to withdraw from the contest.  The fight was to be a rematch as the two top 205-pounders fought for the title last year after then champion Jon Jones was stripped of the belt.

UFC 206 is scheduled to take place December 10 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Earlier this week the Tim Kennedy vs. Rashad Evans fight that was originally scheduled for UFC 205 in New York was also removed from the UFC 206 card.

Currently no fights have been moved up to the main event status however this is what the rest of the UFC 206 fight card looks like.
