Galloway Returns To XFO 54 To Fight Fleming

XFO MMA welcomes back the highly entertaining bantamweight fighter Cory Galloway. Galloway (5-4) jumps back into the cage at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Illinois for XFO 54. Galloway will be fighting Anthony Fleming of Michigan (2-1).

The Crystal Lake, Illinois native is confident leading into his fight against Fleming. After a short stint in Resurrection Fighting Championship (RFA), Galloway plans to get back on track to his winning ways.

“I just need to be me. S#!+ happens and I’m coming off two losses and that sucks, but I’m still a bad man and I’m 100% confident I’m gonna whoop this dude Saturday night.” Galloway said. In Galloway’s four victories, two came by the way of TKO and two by submission. The menace of Chicago is known for his power and aggressive scrappy fighting style. Galloway clearly enters fights to finish opponents in his ruthless assaults.

The Team Curran fighter is confident that his dedication in the gym can’t be matched by his opponent Fleming. Aside from the obvious fight experience, Galloway has the upper hand with the sparring partners he has available.

“I feel great.” Galloway said. “I have the best MMA coach in the world in Jeff Curran leading me every day so there is no doubt I am always ready.”

Pat Curran, former Bellator champion owns and trains at his gym in Chicago, where his brother Jeff Curran trains Galloway. According to Galloway his fight camp has been running smoothly.

“Training has been great. I’m in the gym all day every day, busy out working them all. Mostly been the same crew as always; Jeff Curran, my boy Joey Diehl who will also be laying down a beating on Saturday, Pat Curran, my awesome wrestling coach David Silva and all the other guys at Team Curran.” Galloway said.

Galloway is a confident and entertaining character. His fun personality makes him a person anyone wants be around, and his confidence comes from his ambitious work ethic.

“I think mentality is always the most important aspect in any fight. Confidence and a strong will goes a long way.” Galloway said. “My confidence comes from the amount of work I put in. I guarantee this guy doesn’t work half as hard as me, so there is no way he can hang with me. I’m gonna push him and I’m gonna show off my hard work.”
