Glory Kickboxing debuts on Spike (UK) with Glory 22

For the first time ever, Spike (UK) viewers will be able to watch the world’s premier kickboxing league, as GLORY today announced a deal with the channel to broadcast GLORY 22 on Saturday, June 6 at 10 p.m. BST.“Kickboxing fans have clamoured about our possible debut on the channel for months via social media. We brought that outcry of support to the team at Spike to prove the UK’s strong interest in the most exciting combat sport on television,” said GLORY Executive Director Ivan Farneti. “Things moved quickly after our first meeting”.

GLORY joins Bellator MMA and BAMMA as the combat sports properties currently aired on Spike (UK), part of the Channel 5 family.

Spike Acquisitions & Channel Manager Marie-Claire Dunlop commented:

“We are very excited to add GLORY onto our ever expanding roster of international combat events. Now GLORY fans in the UK have a destination to view the very best kick boxing promotion in the world – and for FREE!”

GLORY 22 is headlined by Heavyweight World Champion Rico “The Prince of Kickboxing” Verhoeven (45-10, 11 KOs) of the Netherlands defending his belt against powerful Romanian Benjamin “Mister Gentleman” Adegbuyi (18-2, 13 KOs). The card also features GLORY’s one-night, four-man Lightweight Contender Tournament, with the winner earning a title shot later this year.

Tickets for GLORY 22 are available starting at stade-pierre-mauroy.com and ticketmaster.com and are priced at €125, €85, €65, €55, €40, €25, and €15.
