The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) today announced its American National Gi, No-Gi and Kids Jiu-Jitsu Championships will be held during the 4th Annual UFC International Fight Week™, which takes place from July 7-12 in Las Vegas.

Established in 2002, the American National Jiu-Jitsu Championships have become one of the most traditional grappling events in the United States. Each year, grapplers from around the world compete to be recognized as a national champion. The event has attracted grapplers from all levels, including professional mixed martial artists such as UFC welterweight Demian Maia, Shane Rice and Baret Yoshida among the list of notable alums.

The No-Gi version of the American Nationals debuted in 2008 and quickly became a crowd favorite with thrilling matches involving skilled champions. Last year, the federation launched the American Kids Championships, aimed at providing a foundational level of Brazilian jiu-jitsu for all minors.

This year marks the first time the championships will be held during International Fight Week, providing a global audience of mixed martial arts (MMA) enthusiasts the opportunity to witness the best grapplers in the world.

All matches will take place July 10 and11 during the UFC Fan Expo® at the Sands Expo in The Venetian / Palazzo Hotel.

UFC International Fight Week features a UFC Fan Expo, the 2015 UFC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, a UFC Reebok experience, the Ulti-man 5k, UFC Gym® Fitness Challenge and various martial arts tournaments, as well as fan events at Fremont Street Experience. UFC International Fight Week will be capped off with two highly anticipated events in UFC® 189: ALDO vs. MCGREGOR on Saturday, July 11 and The Ultimate Fighter® Finale on Sunday, July 12.
