A six-bout main card is locked in following the official weigh-in for Victory Fighting Championship’s VFC 53 which takes place on Wednesday, November 23rd at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo, Iowa, and live on UFC FIGHT PASS.

The original main event for VFC 53 was unfortunately shelved after middleweight champion Mike “Biggie” Rhodes had to withdraw from his title defense with Ron “The Choir Boy” Stallings due to illness.

As a result, the co-main event moves to the top of the bill and will see rising star Raufeon Stots (6-0 – Houston, Texas) take on accomplished veteran Jeff “Big Frog” Curran (37-17 – Chicago, Illinois) in a bantamweight showdown.Illness forces main event change at VFC 33, Jeff Curran now headlines
