Miller, who owns Miller Brothers Martial Arts Academy in Sparta, New Jersey  along with brother Dan, was instructing at MMA Signatures BJJ & MMA Academy in Stroudsburg, PA, when an unexpected guest arrived.

Guess Who?

Art ‘One Glove’ Jimmerson who fought Royce Gracie at UFC 1 walked into the academy on Saturday and appeared to be star struck meeting one of the most accomplished fighters in UFC history.  Crist asked Miller how he felt knowing that a man in Jimmerson, who fought even before Miller knew what the UFC was, was so interested in meeting him.

2:09 in the above video:

“You know it was pretty cool cause I’ve seen the videos of Art fighting. Who could forget, coming in with one boxing glove?  It’s really cool.  I didn’t expect him to walk through this door today, and it was the first time I’ve had the opportunity to meet him.  It was pretty neat.  He’s a legend in the sport.”

Miller continued to talk about things that are going on back at his academy, frustrations with fighting in New York now that mixed martial arts has been fully sanctioned in the state, a unknown suspension, discovering he had Lyme’s Disease, and more.
