John Howard – Job offer as electrician, May walk away from MMA Friday

John ‘Doomsday’ Howard (24-12) fights Abubakar Nurmagomedov this Friday night at World Series of Fighting 33 in Kansas City, Missouri, but the former UFC fighter says that a new job offer may result in him walking away from mixed martial arts for good.

In the video in which ‘Doomsday’ streamed live on Facebook he said that the job is in the electrical field and starts off at $80,000.00 a year.

Howard did not name the company that offered him the job but he said that he is willing to prove to the employer that he will walk away from MMA in order to pursue the career.

Howard assured fans that he will honor his WSOF contract and fight this Friday.  His word for Nurmagomedov were not nice as he takes some of his aggression out in this video.

“I’m gonna f**k you up,” Howard said.

‘Doomsday’ cites lack of financial opportunities in the sport as reason for his decision.
