Justin Gaethje Suspended for Unsportsmanlike Conduct

World Series of Fighting lightweight champ Justin Gaethje retained his title in the first round at WSOF 29 but was suspended for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Gaethje defeated challenger Brian Foster via leg kicks 1:43 into the opening round of their clash at the Bank of Colorado Arena in Greeley, Colorado.

The champion then did what he always does after his wins, a celebratory backflip off the top of the cage.

That flip fell under the category of “unsportsmanlike conduct” according to the Colorado State Boxing Commission and Gaethje was suspended indefinitely.
