It was earlier this year that the former UFC star and Olympic medalist announced that she was expecting her first child with Browne who also happens to be a former professional mixed martial artist.

Browne also made a social media post about his daughter’s birth.

“Welcome to this world La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne. You are so incredibly loved!”

The couple got married in Hawaii in August 2017.

Rousey won judo bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She then started a successful mixed martial arts career with Strikeforce before joining the UFC when the company was acquired by Zuffa, the then parent company of the UFC.

Following her reign as one of the most successful female MMA fighters on the planet, Rousey then joined the WWE to start a career in pro wrestling.

Rousey left the world of MMA with a record of 12-2.  She remained undefeated until she defended her title against Holly Holm at UFC 193 in Australia in November 2015.  The head kick knockout landed by Holm is one of the most highlighted KO’s in the sport.

“Rowdy” would return a year later to lose by knockout once again, this time at the hands of arguably the greatest female fighter on the planet in Amanda Nunes.
