Lesnar earns highest UFC payday ever for UFC 200, Cormier loses in win

Despite being billed as the headlining fighter on UFC 200 up until about 48 hours before the event went live, Daniel Cormier lost roughly half a million dollars due to Jon Jones falling out of the fight.

Cormier was originally supposed to receive $1 million for his title defense against Jon Jones, but his payout has now been cut down in half. For his non-title title bout against Anderson Silva that was quickly booked just two days before the contest, Cormier took home $500,000.ufc 200 payouts

His opponent, Silva on the other hand, earned more than the champion for stepping in on short notice, and has a disclosed payday of $600,000.

Brock Lesnar earned $2.5 million, which is the largest disclosed payout ever for the UFC.

Conor McGregor’s $1 million disclosed payday at UFC 196 was the previous high mark for the promotion.

Lesnar’s opponent in Mark Hunt earned $700,000. Headliners Tate and Nunes earned $500,000 and $100,000 respectively.

Jose Aldo earned $400,000, while Frankie Edgar earned $190,000.

These disclosed numbers also don’t include other bonuses and pay-per-view points that some fighters may receive.  These numbers also do not reflect any sponsorship payouts to include the Reebok agreement.
