Lion Fight Promotions continues to thank Military Veterans through Vet Tix

As a proud supporter of the United States Armed Forces, Lion Fight Promotions announced it is enhancing its continuing efforts with the Veteran Tickets Foundation.

Since partnering with Vet Tix in 2016, Lion Fight has provided servicemen and servicewomen with more than $14,000 worth of complimentary tickets to live events at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, Pechanga Resort Casino in California, and on the famed Las Vegas Strip.

Scott Kent, President & CEO of Lion Fight, is upping the promotion’s pledge to Vet Tix beginning with the upcoming Lion Fight 37 event slated for Friday, July 28 at Foxwoods. Not only will Lion Fight be raising the number of tickets made available to Vet Tix, but one of the ticket recipients will be invited to take part in all future championship belt presentations and receive specially made Lion Fight apparel.

“We wanted to find a way to increase our commitment to the Veterans Tickets Foundation, and making it possible for more veterans to see Lion Fight in person is one of our ways to do so,” said Kent.

“On top of that, we wanted to create another way to show our appreciation for the service these veterans have provided. I think it is very fitting that these championship-caliber individuals will have the opportunity to be part of presenting our championship belts.”

The Veteran Tickets Foundation was established in 2008 and is a nationally recognized 501c3 organization that to date has supplied veterans with more than four million event tickets, vouchers and gift certificates.

“Lion Fight Promotions truly understands our mission to give back to our veterans,” said Vet Tix Ticket Operations Officer Jennifer K. Kirk, MSgt, United States Air Force, Retired (1992-2012).

“Attending such events reduces stress through entertainment, strengthens family bonds through shared interests, and encourages service members to stay engaged with American life and local communities. Wounds of war, both mental and physical, can stay with our veterans the rest of their lives. Giving to our veterans and supporting the transitions back into their families and communities is a gift of gratitude in which we all can take part.

“We appreciate that Lion Fight Promotions recognizes the value of taking care of those that serve and take care of us.”

Numerous testimonials from appreciative veterans like the ones here are posted at http://www.vettix.org/eventfeedback/46851. Just as the veterans appreciate the tickets provided, Lion Fight truly appreciate the veterans’ kind words as well as their patriotism.

Veteran Tickets Foundation teams up with major sports teams, leagues, promoters, organizations, venues and ticket holders to provide free and discounted tickets to the more than 21 million Military and Veterans. Currently Serving Military and Honorably Discharged Veterans from all branches of service as well as family of those Killed In Action are eligible. Tickets are either directly distributed to military bases or Vet Tix-ers claim tickets through our website.
