Mayhem Miller Pleads Not Guilty

Jason “Mayhem” Miller pleaded not guilty today to a charge of resisting and obstructing a peace officer.

Miller was arrested on Oct. 9, after a standoff with sheriff’s deputies at his Mission Viejo, Calif., home.

Deputies were serving an arrest warrant at the home when the 33-year-old fighter ran back into his house and refused to come out willingly.

The situation quickly drew national attention as Miller live-tweeted throughout the standoff.

Authorities say they’ve had several run-ins with Miller in the past. In 2012, he was found naked inside a church. He was accused of vandalism, but the charges were dismissed.  He was also arrested in 2013 for domestic violence.

Miller has not fought professionally since a May 2012 loss to C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146.

Miller was the host of MTV’s Bully Beatdown and also starred in the film “Here Comes the Boom.”
