Metamoris 6 results – Time to reevaluate?

With no fans or media in attendance Metamoris is drifting into unchartered waters, however it may prove to be a smart move, but we will not be able to tell until after the official pay-per-view buy rate is released.

The problem there within lies with in the organization’s rules.  The only way to win is via submission which is “cool” but at the same time it also creates the possibility for bouts to end in draws which means, there is no winner.  While some would say that means that for 20 minutes competitors are going at one another and you get to see a lot of skill, that does not always hold true.  Some bouts are boring and do not live up to expectations.  There were eight fights on tonight’s card with only three ending via submission; the rest went to a draw which means time expired after a full 20 minutes.

If you scoured social media for #Metamoris hashtags you might find that many became disappointed with the draws and with not much media hype behind the card (a fault that lies within Metamoris), where do they go from here?

The matchups are excellent however not all the fans are seeing eye to eye and if fans are shelling out money, why not aim to please?

Ryron Gracie stepped up on just a few days notice to replace an injured Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu against “Warmaster” Josh Barnett in the evening’s main event.

The brash Chael Sonnen is also on the card in a rematch (although not MMA) against Renato “Babalu” Sobral.
