I went to an MMA event….and a charity Hockey game broke out

A bench clearing brawl erupted at the annual charity hockey exhibition between New York City’s first responders in the Fire Department (FDNY) and Police Department (NYPD) at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, April 6.

The epic slugfest broke out in the second period while the game was tied at 3.

Chances are that if you own a smartphone and were at the game you were able to capture some of the footage and eventually upload to YouTube as the brawl was rumored to have lasted more than 20 minutes. (Not confirmed).

It was the 41st meeting of the two teams which the FD has won the past five years consecutively.

While the PD may have won this year’s battle it is uncertain who won the brawl, and isn’t that all that really matters?

The stock just rose in this annual charity event as fans are eager to see what will happen next year.  Hopefully people will at least remember which charity the game benefits.
