NCAA Finals Weigh-in and Preview Show at MSG Theater, Saturday, March 19, 3pm

Legendary MSG scale once used to weigh in Muhammad Ali Joe Frazier Joe Louis and George Foreman Will be used for finalist

On Saturday, March 19, 2016, all twenty student-athlete finalist of the 2016 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships will participate in a special weight-in and finals preview show in the Madison Square Garden Theater. The show will begin on at 3:00 p.m. 

Each finalist will step on the legendary Madison Square Garden scale once used to weigh in many illustrious boxers including the likes of Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Joe Louis, Sugar Ray Robinson, George Foreman and many others for a special weigh-in even prior to  Saturday night’s 2016 Division I Wrestling Championship finals at Madison Square Garden. All qualified student-athletes will comment on their respective journey to the NCAA finals and partake in the first-ever AT&T Autograph Session featuring all twenty current NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships finalist.

In addition, NCAA Wrestling legends and coaches will also be in attendance for comments, autographs, and photo opportunities.

In the 137-year history of Madison Square Garden, the World’s Most Famous Arena is set to host the 2016 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships. The event will take place March 17-19, 2016. Madison Square Garden is hosting the 2016 NCAA Wrestling Championships in association with Hofstra University.

Over the course of the wrestling season, over 2,400 student-athletes from across the country have competed for the opportunity to become one of 330 wrestlers to advance to the wrestling championships at The Garden.

Tickets for the Preview Show went on sale today and can be purchased at the Madison Square Garden Box office, www.thegarden.com and all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are priced at $10.00 and $15.00 for the Preview Show in the Madison Square Garden Theater.
