Nick Diaz invites USADA agent to smoke weed

Nick Diaz welcomes USADA official to smoke up with him

Nick Diaz is on a comeback to the UFC after a five-year ban from the sport which was later reduced to a little more than one.  Now, the famed Stockton mixed martial artist has recorded a call with a USADA agent who might make or break that comeback.

Diaz, tired of waiting around, offers for the test agent to smoke up with him.

A few days after his fight with Anderson Silva at UFC 183, the UFC revealed that Diaz had once again failed his post-fight drug test for marijuana metabolites. He was initially suspended for five years and fined him $165,000. It was later cut down to 18-months and $100,000.

The suspension was officially lifted on August 1, 2016.

On April 9, 2018, Diaz accepted a one-year USADA sanction for failing to report his whereabouts to USADA on three occasions from the third quarter of 2016 to the first quarter of 2017. The sanction was retroactive to April 9, 2017, and Diaz would be eligible to compete again on April 9, 2018. He has not yet done so.
