Professional Fighters League: Daytona results – Fitch vs. Foster

The Professional Fighters League: Daytona featured three three-round bouts and one highly-anticipated five-round main event that pits Jon Fitch vs. Brian Foster for the number one seed when league play begins in January 2018.

The June 30 fights held from the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, were initially scheduled to air beginning at 10:30 p.m. EST on NBCSN after the Coke Zero 400 race had concluded. Rain delayed the race until tomorrow so the fights moved up in time slot but proceeded as originally scheduled.

The eight fighters competing at #PFLDaytona will be among the first signed to compete in the inaugural 2018 Professional Fighters League season. The first Professional Fighters League championships will be awarded in December 2018 to the fighters who emerge victorious after the post-season tournament.

Former World Series of Fighting welterweight champion Jon Fitch had his hands full with the hard-hitting Brian Foster in the scheduled main event.  Foster bloodied Fitch under the eye but the former champion recovered and was able to submit his opponent with a side choke before breaking out in dance.
