Ray Bing misses weight by 16 pounds for Baby Slice Bellator MMA fight

The Bellator MMA debut of Kevin Ferguson Jr., also known as Baby Slice, will be put on hold once again after his opponent, Ray Bing missed weight for a catchweight bout by more than 16 pounds.

According to Bellator officials, Ferguson Jr. tipped the scale at 164.6 pounds. Bing came in at 181.9 pounds.

A release to MyMMANews.com from Bellator MMA stated, “As a result of Ray Bing missing weight by 16 pounds this morning, the bout has been canceled. Ferguson Jr. was paid his show money and will be re-scheduled to fight before the end of 2016.”

Slice of course is the son of the late Kevin Ferguson, Kimbo Slice who died unexpectedly earlier this year.

Ferguson Jr. was originally scheduled to make his Bellator debut in August, but his fight was pushed back due to injury.

The fight with Bing for was scheduled for a catchweight of 162 for tomorrow’s Bellator 162 card in Memphis, Tennessee.
