Reebok payout for UFC Dublin – Main event fighters earn combined $5,000

Under the new partnership with Reebok, UFC fighters with less than six octagon appearances to their name will only make $2,500 in sponsorship money from the deal.  So, when both the main and co-main events for UFC Dublin got cancelled and Louis Smolka and Paddy Holohan moved up to be the final fight of the night the result is $2500 in earnings for each fighter.

While fighters can still earn sponsorship money outside the octagon they can no longer wear any other apparel or bring in banners with logos from non-UFC partnered companies such as Reebok.  Fighters have to look for other ways to market themselves and earn sponsorship dollars to stay afloat.

As you can tell from the breakdown below, 6-10 fights in the UFC will get you $5,000. For 11-15 octagon appearances, fighters will make $10,000 and an extra $5,000 for 16-20 fights. Long-time UFC fighters with more than 20 fights will receive $20,000.
