Ronda Rousey to appear on Ellen DeGeneres, talk UFC return Tuesday

By the time former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey challenges champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 on December 30, it will have been more than a year since Rousey last competed inside the octagon.

Tomorrow, November 1, Rousey will appear on the Ellen DeGeneres television show to talk about her return to the UFC and the upcoming title bout.  Check your local listings for air time.

Headlines were made earlier this year when Rousey went on the show and openly discussed thoughts of suicide following her title fight loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 last November.  That was the last time we saw the dominant former champion compete inside the octagon.

“Honestly, my thought, I was in the medical room and I was down in the corner, and I was like, ‘What am I anymore if I’m not this?’” Rousey said. “I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself, and that exact second I’m like, ‘I’m nothing. What do I do anymore?’ and ‘No one gives a (expletive) about me anymore without this.’”

Rousey vs. Nunes headlines UFC 207 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 30, 2016.  The event will be available for purchase on pay-per-view.
