While one would think that former UFC women’s bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey would have a vested interest in watching UFC 196 this past weekend, ‘Rowdy’ apparently had other things penciled into her schedule.

UFC President Dana White said on Saturday night that after Miesha Tate choked out Ronda Rousey he texted her and she apparently had no idea what happened.  It was White who had informed Rousey of the outcome and title exchange.

But where was Ronda?

Rousey, a long-time fan of pro wrestling texted White back stating “”Looks like I gotta get back to work.”

Soon after Tate scored her fifth-round victory, photos of Rousey checking her phone – and smiling – in the stands began to make the rounds.
