The Jasta Show – Kimbo Slice talks porn, rap, heavy metal

In this episode Jamey Jasta is joined by Kimbo Slice. They discuss going to a heavy metal concert together, how to buy a chain, pornography, rap, Mercer, Robert DeNiro, critics, Bellator, his advice about how to make it, and arson.

Jasta who is from New Haven, Connecticut, is best known as the lead vocalist of he metalcore band Hatebreed and sludge metal band Kingdom of Sorrow. He also fronts hardcore punk band Icepick.
Jasta owns Stillborn Records, a hardcore and metal-based record label from West Haven, and “rock themed apparel” line called Hatewear.

Jasta has been a longtime fan of MMA, sponsoring fighters and even recording theme songs for fighters to include former UFC heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski.

Last week Bellator MMA announced that Kimbo Slice would headline a February event card.  No opponent has been named as of yet although a possibility would be the winner of this week’s Bobby Lashley vs. James Thompson matchup.  He last fought against Ken Shamrock in June which marked his first MMA fight since a TKO loss to Matt Mitrione at UFC 113 in 2010.
