Tito Ortiz tells TMZ he has one more year of fighting, praises UFC for CM Punk signing

TMZ Sports caught up with Tito Ortiz and girlfriend Amber Nichole Miller as they were joined by ‘Razor’ Rob McCullough and his girlfriend.

Ortiz was questioned about the UFC signing former WWE star CM Punk.  Didn’t think we’d see this one coming … but Ortiz just fired off some COMPLIMENTS about his bitter rival Dana White — praising the UFC boss for signing the wrestling star.

Ortiz also mentioned that he has roughly one more year of fighting in him and has one more thing that he wants to accomplish, getting another world title and defending it.

The Huntington Beach Bad Boy turns 40-years-old in January and said 2015 will be his last year fighting.  That puts a timeline on the marketability of the famed fighter for his now employer in Bellator.  His last fight against Stephan Bonnar at Bellator 131 was the most watched fight card in franchise history, and the Ortiz-Bonnar fight was the most watched MMA fight this year on cable.

It seems as if Ortiz is gunning for a title shot, but in order to do that he will have to fight his friend Emanuel Newton.  Will Ortiz get his title shot in 2015?
