UFC 204 Results:  Bisping vs. Henderson 2

The epic rematch seven years in the making between Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson finally takes place tonight at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.

The UFC 204 main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

The two men first met back at UFC 100 in 2009 when Bisping was brutally knocked out by the American, Henderson.

Tonight, win or lose, Henderson said this fight would be the final fight of his illustrious and legendary mixed martial arts career.  We would see however if Hendo would change his mind once that gold belt would be wrapped around his waist.

It was an amazing fight.  Amazing.  Dan Henderson went all five rounds and pounded the hell out of the champion who did the right thing and praised the hell out of Hendo who would fight his final fight.  Hendo knocked Bisping down several times during the fight but it was not enough.  Bisping won a unanimous decision to retain the title.

The evening’s co-main event featured a bout between two of the best middleweights of all time in Vitor Belfort and Gegard Mousasi.  It was Mousasi’s 40th professional win as he TKO’d Belfort in the 2nd round.

Yesterday at weigh-ins, on the advice of physicians, and with the athlete’s health and safety in mind, UFC has removed Ian Entwistle from his bout against Rob Font at UFC 204 in Manchester, England due to illness.

UFC 204 will proceed with 11 bouts. Font will serve as a backup in the event a bantamweight from the card cannot compete.
