Did Viacom/Bellator let ring girl Jade Bryce go because she’s pregnant?

Last month, Jade Bryce announced that she was parting ways with Bellator MMA.  The long-time ring girl who often appeared alongside Mercedes Terrell stated that Viacom who owns Spike TV (the broadcast partner of Bellator) had “chosen to go in a different direction.”

“I don’t have reasons – just my contract was up, and we talked and said that we were going in different directions,” she said. “I don’t have the exact direction they’re going in. I would imagine it would be another blonde since Mercedes is a brunette; they’d probably want to have variety, but I’m not sure.”

Bryce recently posted photos on social media where she appears to have a baby bump and announced that she is pregnant.

I’m no doctor but a pregnant woman’s belly doesn’t just start to grow like that in just a few short weeks.  Did Bryce inform her employer that she was pregnant and then they decided that her services would no longer be needed?

You be the judge.

Did Bryce get dropped from the promotion because she’s pregnant, or were other factors at play? No one really knows the answer to that except for Bryce and Bellator higher-ups.  If they did drop her because she is pregnant, couldn’t they just have given her a leave of absence?

Scott Cook, Bryce’s long-time boyfriend is the father of the baby which is scheduled for a summer-time birth.
