War Machine's request to take polygraph revoked by Judge

War Machine found guilty on 29 or 34 charges, faces life in prison

Today, a Las Vegas jury found former UFC and Bellator MMA fighter War Machine, guilty on 29 of 34 charges brought against him.

War Machine, whose birth name was Jon Koppenhaver, was facing multiple charges in connection with the beating of his ex-girlfriend, Christy Mack and her boyfriend, Corey Thomas in 2014.

Charges included sexual assault, kidnapping, and coercion. He avoided the most serious charges as jurors deadlocked on two attempted-murder chargers. Koppenhaver, 35, was arrested Aug. 18, 2014 after spending 10 days on the run.

Mack took the stand last week to detail the horrific attack War Machine imposed on the couple.

After the attack Mack was left with injuries that included broken teeth, a fractured rib and a severely ruptured liver. Thomas suffered a broken nose, dislocated shoulder, scrapes, bruises, and bite marks.

Punishment has not yet been delivered, however the fighter could face up to life in prison.
