Weigh-In Results for Victory Fighting Championship VFC 54

Second of #3Shows30Days goes tomorrow night live on UFC FIGHT PASS®

Two title fights have been locked in for Victory Fighting Championship’s VFC 54: Pitolo vs. Kayne 2 following the official weigh-ins held on Thursday afternoon.

The seven-bout main card takes place tomorrow night – Friday, December 8th – live on UFC FIGHT PASS® from the Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.

Topping the bill is the much-anticipated rematch for the VFC welterweight title as champion Maki “Coconut Bombz” Pitolo puts his belt on the line against rival Kassius “Killa Kayne” Holdorf. Their original matchup took place at VFC 52 with Pitolo earning a unanimous decision, but Holdorf, a short-notice replacement, earned his second chance by going the distance in a riveting battle.

Pitolo (10-1; Nakakuli, Hawaii) weighed in at 168.8 lbs. while Omaha’s own Holdorf (8-3) came through at 170.4 lbs. (a one-pound allowance even for title bouts is permitted by the Nebraska State Athletic Commission).

In the other title matchup, reigning VFC bantamweight belt-holder Rob “The Saint” Emerson (18-11, 1 NC) looks to become a two-division champion as he attempts to add the featherweight strap. Emerson has a stiff test in front of him in Ryan “Are You Ready?” Roberts (21-12), who vies for the bantamweight crown in his home town of Omaha.
Emerson, who hails from Newport Beach, California, stepped off the scale at 146.0 lbs. with Roberts registering in 145.2 lbs.
