19 year old stud Raul Rosas Jr submits BJJ black belt Ricky Turcios at UFC Louisville
The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to us tonight, June 8, 2024 for UFC Louisville, going down live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
Headlining the event is a middleweight clash between no. 4 ranked former title challenger Jared Cannonier (17-6) and no. 7 ranked Nassourdine Imavov (13-4, 1 NC).
Co-headlining the event is a light-heavyweight bout showcasing another former title challenger, this one no. 15 ranked Dominick Reyes (12-4), who aims to snap his four-fight losing skid with a win in tonight’s co-main event over Dustin Jacoby (19-8-1).
Our feature fight of the evening came in the bantamweight division between teenage sensation Raul Rosas Jr (9-1) and The Ultimate Fighter 29 winner Ricky Turcios (12-4).
Each man came into tonight’s feature fight off one win, having won their UFC debuts, lost their sophomore efforts with the promotion, and won their most recent outings; both of Rosas’ wins came via first round finish with one submission and one TKO, both of Turcios’ wins came via split decision, and each of them lost unanimous decisions two fights ago.
