Watch Bellator’s Aaron Pico chase U.S. Olympic roster spot tonight
TUNE IN AND WATCH BELLATOR’S AARON PICO AS HE CHASES HIS SPOT ON THE US OLYMPIC ROSTER – TONIGHT ON NBCSN STARTING AT 7p.m. ET/4p.m. PT.
Pico takes on Frank Molinaro, a wrestler he has defeated in each of their previous two meetings. With a victory in his matchup tonight, Pico will be bound for Rio to represent America in the 2016 Summer Olympics at 65kg, becoming the first U.S. teenager to wrestle freestyle at the Olympics in 40 years.
The matchup will be featured on NBCSN’s #RoadToRio tonight at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
Signed by Bellator MMA in November of 2014, the 19-year-old prodigy is undeniably MMA’s greatest prospect. The California native has already captured a FILA World Championship along with multiple prestigious national titles in boxing and pankration. While Pico’s wrestling career can be simply summed up as “dominate”, the former Junior Golden Gloves Champion considers his standup game to be most refined.
Bellator wishes Pico the best of luck tonight and moving forward in Rio!
