Westbury – World’s Collide is the biggest amateur event in the State of New York. Sanctioned by the United States Muay Thai Association (U.S.M.T.A.), now Triton Fights, after an Aggressive Combat Championship and KTFO merger, has 12 action packed bouts lined up for the fans packing the venue, The Space at Westbury Theater, in Westbury, Long Island, New York.

The card is headlined by two of the most bad ass women in New York. Jillian DeCoursey, the atom weight champion, and No.1 ranked female in NY, is set to take on challenger Lindsey VanZandt. VanZandt hopes to hear #AndNew after tonight by ring announcer and the voice of the Brooklyn Nets, David Diamonte.

In the co-main event, Long Island MMA’s Eric Ott battle Dan Coleman of Striking 101 for the middleweight title.

Kyle Carroll

Kyle Carroll is a Long Island, N.Y. native and avid MMA and amateur wrestling fan. He has been a part of the wrestling community for nearly 20 years. Carroll has six years of experience coaching high school wrestling. His father coached high school wrestling over 35 years, passing on his strong knowledge. Carroll has been reporting MMA news since January 2011. The former wrestler’s coverage includes the 2012 U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team Trials, 2013 & 2016 NCAA D1 Wrestling Championship, and numerous MMA events (Bellator MMA, King of the Cage, North American Fighting Championship, and Glory).
