Ahmad Ibrahim wins WBC national title: “It was just my night”

On September 25th, “The Palestinian Golden Boy,” Ahmad Ibrahim set out on a mission. His mission was simple; fulfill a lifetime dream of capturing a belt with so much lineage and history behind it, there would be no question as to his skill, determination, or talent.
At WKC Full Rules ‘Muay Thai: Matter of Pride, Ibrahim vied and successfully captured the coveted WBC National 126lb. Championship. He went into enemy territory and defeated the former reigning champ, Adam Rothweiler via unanimous decision by systematically piecing his combinations in place and applying too much pressure for the former champion to keep up with.
Ibrahim felt in control for the duration of the entire contest. “I was just on” Ibrahim says. “It was my night.” While Rothweiler stayed competitive the entire matchup, Ibrahim felt his rhythm and blasted Rothweiler with non-stop punches from every angle.
“My hands were perfect,” Ibrahim says. Continuing, “my elbows, my clinch, my knees, my kicks. Everything was just there and it was just my night, man,” he says. “It was just perfect,” Ibrahim says with a breath of emotional relief.
With no plans of stopping anytime soon, Ibrahim has intentions to fly out to Thailand in 2022-The birthplace of Muay Thai to study, train and fight. He also discusses defending the WBC belt later in 2022 on his east coast turf since winning in his enemies back yard, initially. Ibrahim discusses why the champ should get home field advantage.
