AJ Fletcher previews his UFC Vegas 50 matchup against Matt Semelsberger

AJ Fletcher is all ready to make his first walk to the UFC octagon.
Fletcher, who has a perfect 9-0 professional record, will make his UFC debut this Saturday at UFC Vegas 50 when he meets Matt Semelsberger in a welterweight matchup.
Prior to joining the UFC, Fletcher racked up eight wins on the regional scene before getting a chance to fight in front of UFC president Dana White in August on Dana White’s Contender Series. In his fight on Dana White’s Contender Series, Fletcher secured a highlight reel knockout when he landed a flying a knee on Leonardo Damiani in the opening round of the contest that earned him his UFC contract.
Now the Louisiana native has been working hard in the lead up to his debut. Over the past few weeks, Fletcher has had the privilege of working out with UFC star and former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier, who has been helping Fletcher prepare for the fight and will be in his corner on Saturday.
Prior to his debut at UFC Vegas 50, Fletcher spoke with MyMMANews to discuss his matchup with Semelsberger, training with Poirier and the support he gets from his family and friends in his hometown.
