Alex Pereira to defend against Khalil Rountree at UFC 307
Alex Pereira will defend his UFC light heavyweight title against Khalil Rountree at UFC 307 in Salt Lake City, UFC CEO Dana White announced on Friday.

“Poatan” Pereira (11-2) captured the title when he defeated former champion Jiří Procházka at UFC 295 in November 2023. He has made two successful title defenses since, defeating Jamahal Hill at UFC 300 in April and then Procházka against in a rematch at UFC 303.
Rountree (13-5) is on a five-fight win-streak and has not lost since 2021.
