Bellator 260: Alex Polizzi and Mark Lemminger post-fight
Bellator 260 went down on Friday, June 11th from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville. I spoke with Alex Polizzi as well as Mark Lemminger. Both train out of Chosen Few Gym and the camp went 2-0 on this summer night.

Polizzi locked in a straight armbar in the first round to defeat Gustavo Trujillo.
Lemminger halted Demarques Jackson with strikes in the second stanza of their contest.

In the lead-up to this fight though, we were talking and we were touching on the affinity for Arby’s there. You were talking about filling up on some food.
When do you think you think you’re gonna send ‘er for that meat mountain sandwich?
“Dylan, I’m gonna throw this out there, you threw me for a loop after that day. I wasn’t ready for the questions that you were bringing to the table but I do enjoy them. There’s an Arby’s establishment, a little bit down the road from where I’m currently living. So after a flight back home I’ll probably stop on the way before I even drop my bags off from traveling. Get myself a meat mountain, maybe an orange creamsicle shake.”

Just kind of wondering your thoughts on the fact that Chosen Few Gym went 2-0 tonight.
Did seeing teammate Alex Polizzi kind of compound the motivation further as you got in the Bellator cage? And just how are you feeling about the gym going 2-0 tonight?
“I think we did our gym proud. I watched Alex’s fight up in the hotel room and I could have told you that was going to happen. The guy’s a monster. I’m probably his main training partner. Every day I come home with a different bruise or a sore muscle from that guy. He’s a savage.”
