Angela Lee : “I feel like I have this ‘mom strength’ now”
“Unstoppable” Angela Lee (10-2) will return to action at her home promotion in ONE Championship when she meets Stamp Fairtex in a highly anticipated matchup at ONE: X on March 26 in Singapore. The strawweight matchup will headline the fight card and will mark Lee’s first fight since October 2019 and her first since giving birth to her daughter in 2021.
“I feel like I have this ‘mom strength’ now,” the 25-year-old told Yahoo News Singapore in an online interview earlier this month. “I feel like I can endure so much more after giving birth. Now that I have my daughter, I’m willing to go through even more. I can’t wait to be back fighting again.”
All 12 of Lee’s professional mixed martial arts bouts have come under the ONE Championship banner, beginning when she was just a teenager at ONE FC 27: Warrior’s Quest in May 2015.
Lee would go on to rack up nine consecutive wins and a world championship before losing the title in her first defeat, a fifth-round finish by Jingnan Xiong. Lee would then lose her next outing to Michelle Nicolini by way of decision before bouncing back to regain the title by defeating the woman who took her title in Xiong.

“Yesterday Ava Marie made 9 months and wow, what a journey it has been for us! This picture really puts it all in perspective for me.
“On the left, I was 9 months pregnant with Ava, just days away from giving birth & on the right, is a picture we took today! Ava is 9 months old and it’s been 9 months postpartum for me. I am so grateful for this body of mine, that housed, nourished and protected my baby girl 🙏🏼
“I am definitely taking a lot better care of my body, nourishing it not just for me but also for Ava as I’m still breastfeeding and nursing her.
“We have gone through a lot and we have grown a lot together… I’m so proud of us! I love you baby girl, thank you for teaching me how to be a good momma to you 😘.”
