Anthony Ivy and Christian Aguilera meet at UFC event on June 13
The UFC is rewarding Anthony Ivy for stepping up short notice at UFC 250 then having his debut canceled.
Just days ago, Ivy stepped in for Ian Heinisch to fight Gerald Meerschaer at UFC 250 on June 6. Although one of Heinisch’s corners initially tested positive for COVID-19, it was later proved to be an inaccurate result. Ivy’s UFC debut was postponed once Heinisch and Meerschaert were back on for tonight’s event.
First reported by Sherdog, Anthony Ivy is slated to fight Christian Aguilera at UFC’s event on June 13.

Ivy faces a fellow UFC newcomer in Aguilera. Aguilera is currently on a two-fight win streak, most recently earning a unanimous decision against Glaucio Eliziario at Legacy Fighting Alliance [LFA] 81 on Jan. 31.
His other win includes a first-round TKO against Krzystof Kulak at Celtic Gladiator 25 in October 2019.
The June 13 event takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, pending on the approval from the Nevada Athletic Commission this Monday, June 8. The broadcast plans are yet to be announced.
