Arianny Celeste is pregnant, reason for absence from UFC events now known
Famed UFC octagon girl Arianny Celeste has been absent from the promotion’s live events in recent months, causing fans, fighters, and media to speculate her whereabouts.
Today, the 34-year old ring card girl whose real name is Penelope López Márquez, revealed that she is pregnant and expecting her first child.
Celeste wrote on her social media post:
“Dear Baby,
I’ve been waiting for this moment my entire life! I promise to teach you about the beauty of the world and to love with no restrictions or division. In turn, you have already taught me so much about kindness, empathy, and most of all faith. Through all of this chaos, you have helped me to remain strong and grounded. You are already loved soooooo much!! I can’t wait to meet you my baby!
Love,
Mommy”
She then said “For More details link in Bio.”
That link in the bio took fans to an article from US Magazine that said Arianny Celeste and boyfriend Taylor King are expecting the baby to be born on September 28.
The articles states that the Las Vegas native found out about her pregnancy in January and has felt “a mix of nervousness and excitement” ever since.
Celeste made her debut with the UFC in 2006 and has won several “Ring Card Girl of the Year” awards multiple times over.
Maxim voted Celeste “The Hottest UFC Octagon Girl” in the May 2010 issue where she was featured as the cover model. She also appears in Maxim’s Hot 100 list for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014; she placed #23, #69, #58, #18 and #59 respectively on the list.
Celeste posed nude for the November 2010 issue of Playboy, which was one of top-selling issues that year.
