Art of War heavyweight champ Patrick Brady meets Raiden Kovacs at CageZilla 62
The DC Metro Area’s Largest and Longest Running MMA Promotion, CageZilla Fighting Championship, returns to their new home at The Salisbury Center in Manassas, VA on Saturday, August 21, 2021 for CageZilla 62.
Headlined by a flyweight title bout between George Billy and Will Spann III, the promotion will inherit a co-main event fight that was supposed to take place about four-and-a-half hours north in Feasterville, Pennsylvania.
A four-man heavyweight tournament put in place at Art of War Cage Fighting 18 in May.
Raiden Kovacs (4-0) defeated Ian Allston by way of triangle choke submission, setting up a title fight against current champion, Patrick Brady (3-1-1), who defeated Gavin Nickel by way of TKO on the same night.
The two men were to face off at AOW 19 on July 31, but the fight eventually fell through and will now take place under the CageZilla banner, part of the August 21 CageZilla 62 extravaganza.
