Aspen Ladd (11-5) discusses her featherweight fight against Ekaterina Shakalova (8-1) at Bellator Champions Series on May 17. Aspen also talked about the PFL-Bellator merger, her loss to Kayla Harrison and Harrison’s win over Holly Holm at UFC 300.
“She rag dolled her which is exactly what I expected to happen. I know online, the MMA community can be awful, people don’t know what they’re talking about. There was a lot of s**t talking going on before the fight. It was like, nah she’s going to go in and she’s going take that fight. There is nobody in that division with the grappling, to withstand her in my opinion right now.”
