The main event tonight in Connecticut as far as Bellator goes was a title rematch between Patricio “Pitbull” Freire and Pat Curran and it was Pitbull who would win this fight via unanimous decision but the real story may have been the night of comebacks as Bobby Lashley and Tamdan McCrory both defeated their opponents after extremely long layoffs from the sport.
In their first fight Curran was the winner and tonight the roles reversed giving Pitbull a Bellator title.
