Bellator London – Fabian “The Assassin” Edwards – Pre-Fight Interview
Fabian Edwards is not one to sit on the side-lines for too long and this weekend he returns the cage for his third fight in only four months.
I discussed with “The Assasin” how it feels to have such a quick turnaround and being presented with fights on a regular basis.
“I felt my last 5 months has been camp, I haven’t had a rest. I fought in February, May and now June but I love it. It’s the life that I chose and I’m living it. It feels good, I told Bellator that if you are going to sign me you have to keep me busy and they have held up to their end of the deal , I’m looking to get a few more before the end of the year.”
Fabian Edwards is currently 7-0 as a professional with only one fight going to decision. Edwards is an exciting, explosive fighter, consistently putting on a fantastic show for all the fans. To flying knees and up kick knockouts, anytime Edwards enters the cage fireworks are inevitable.
A big inspiration for Edwards is his brother and top ten UFC welterweight in the world Leon Edwards. Edwards explained how he looks up to his brother regarding where his career has led and wishes to follow in similar footsteps. If he keeps putting on spectacular performances and devastating finishes, there should be no reason to why The Assassin should be ignored.
