Ben Askren and Darren Till go back-and-forth on social media
Ben Askren got his first UFC win on Saturday night by beating Robbie Lawler by submission. Although it was controversial, Askren still improved to 19-0 and remains adamant he wants the winner between Darren Till and Jorge Masvidal. But, the early thoughts are he would like to fight Till given the two have gone back-and-forth on social media for months now.
And, once again the two went back at it following Askren’s win, which Till wasn’t impressed by.

“Hey Darren Till, now that there isn’t much standing between us, I don’t see your loose gums flapping. See you in London, sucka,” Askren wrote.
The immediately got a response from Till is quite confident he would beat the undefeated fighter.
Ben, your performance was shit.

Once again Askren responded seemingly thinking he has the fight he wanted to be secured.

Although the two have gone back-and-forth on social media. Till still needs to beat Jorge Masvidal on the 16th, once that happens, this fight could realistically happen. But, another roadblock in the way is the fact UFC President, Dana White wants Askren to rematch Lawler after their fight ended in controversial fashion.
Know for sure, it appears both Till and Askren want this fight and it makes sense as the lead up to this fight could be phenomenal. The two seem to definitely hate each other and the fight could be a Fight Night main event or on a UFC pay-per-view.
Askren did his job by winning, now Till needs to win for the fight to happen.
